A small pie, with a nice decoration on top. Pastry was nice and soft and light, so a rather pleasing first bite. Just a shame it was not bigger.

Reviewers Comments and Guessed Origin "Somewhat disappointing. Tasted too much of flour!" "It may be because we have had some top quality pies recently but this one didn't give me the 'pie satisfaction'. It really doesn't stand up against the others and is obviously mass produced. There's no Christmas spirit, no delicate love and care put into these, just the need to mass produce" "Is a very no nonsense pie, tastes better than it looks" "Good pie, maybe a bit too small." "Good all round pie" "Smells like its burnt, lack of suger coating filling taste is ok." "General appearance was no more than satisfactory. There is a mild butter aroma, no real fragrance from the fruit. The crust is dry with little thickness, but is uniform. Though lacking in quantity the fruit provided a brief highlight to a uninspiring pie." "Very bland." "Is this the Rowan Hill pie? Small and not particularly exciting" "Again a bit lightweight"
