"A fantastic pie... excellent pastry, but the filling to pastry ratio was a bit too low for my liking. Doesn't look/taste like from a packet... freshly baked from Morrisons?" First bite was not mind blowing but on second bite the true character of the pastry and filling came together. It's a low roof pie so filling was to top of lid, so looks good in proportion. Actually the pastry is really quiet nice and not fatty/greasy, maybe for some people a little on the dry texture side which I prefer anyway - filling was nice with definite texture and tang. All in all a nice non-pretentious pie - this is probably either bespoke/smaller producer, or maybe a surprisingly good budget offering." "So small. The most pathetic looking pie I've ever seen.
