A very interesting and unusual looking pie today. The double star topping makes it stand out from other pies and also allows for steam to escape during cooking. The pie was a good size and weight. It's the first time we've seen a paper case / cup making it more eco-friendly? On to the pie... First impressions were very good, lovely soft moist pastry. The filling was wonderfully fruity with plenty of texture, but we would have liked a little more 'bite'. We could certainly eat another two or three.
