Summary
Today we have the Tesco Finest All Butter Pastry Mince Pie. As you can see it's a very good looking pie with a nice snowflake design, sprinkle of granulated sugar and three steam holes.
The size and weight pf the pie is above average, and it came cleanly out of it's pastry case.
First impressions were good, pastry was just soft enough with a slight crunch and not too much crumble. The pie was well filled, but there was room for a little more filling. Plenty of summer fruits and texture to the sweet filling, and we could definitely taste the Brandy! The overall taste was slightly sweet, but we would definitely eat another one!
Overall a very very good mince pie from Tesco. Very enjoyable. Another please?
