First pie of the week, and it looks good. Nice holly leaf design and a light sprinkle of granulated sugar. But the edges look a little brown, so perhaps it's bee overcooked slightly? An average size pie so no real comment about size and weight. First impressions are that it's a bit dry, particularly the pastry. The filling is sweet, a tad too sweet with little texture of evidence of fruit. It held together well and didn't crumble into my lap, but overall a slightly below average pie.
