Just days after revealing hot cross buns are being sold all year round, Coles has announced another festive classic is hitting the shelves full time.
This time it’s the classic fruit mince pie — usually enjoyed in December — that is being offered up early.
But instead of curbing mince-pie-cravings, the decision has created a furious debate.
Many Christmas lovers are branding the decision “gross”, saying the Australian retail giant has “destroyed the true meaning” of the tradition.
