I was surprised to discover this evening that unlike all the other supermarket counterparts, Waitrose has declined the opportunity to sell Mince Pies this early in the season. No Christmas goods can be found in their aisles in September. The only exception to this is their Bakery, which willingly supplied Mince Pies.
Should they be congratulated for responding to their customer demands of Christmas goods for Christmas time?
After all they are still selling their Hot Cross Buns!
