Today's pie is a little different with a lattice top. Some night say this is not a pie but a tart! However for the benefit of others we pushed on with a review. A nice looking pie/tart, evenly cooked displaying it filling through the lattice. Little sugar coating to speak off. It's slightly on the small side for a pie, but ok for a tart. First impressions were ok too. Pastry was a little tough but a good first bite. The filling was easily the best feature of this pie with plenty of tasty fruit. It was just a shame that there was so little of it. So if it had been a pie and twice the size it would have been great. As it is it's just OK.
