Today's pie is slightly on the small side. The large star design only half covered with sugar. The top is slightly bulging, could this pie be full to the brim with filling... First impressions were OK. The pastry was slightly dry but acceptable it held together well and did not fall apart. Another sweet pie, and yes loads of filling. There was some texture and fruit in there too. Good effort shame it was on the small side.
